WELCOME

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, OC Meals will be a supplemental support program for vulnerable populations who are experiencing food insecurity. The food distribution program will assist seniors, single parents, unemployed individuals, and people with disabilities.

There will be three sites within the Second District of Orange County, operating one day per week, with each pickup to include two dinner meals made by participating restaurants and caterers.

Must live in OC District 2

Serving the following cities within District 2 of Orange County:

Costa Mesa
Cypress
Huntington Beach
La Palma
Los Alamitos
Newport Beach
Seal Beach
Stanton
Rossmoor (unincorporated areas)
Buena Park (parts)
Fountain Valley (parts)
You must live in District 2 to qualify.

Additional Requirements:

• Participants must not currently be receiving assistance from other state or federal nutrition programs. State or federal nutrition assistance programs may include, but not be limited to Cal Fresh, Title III-C of the Older Americans Act (Congregate and Home-Delivered Meals), Great Plates Delivered program, etc.

• Participants shall self-certify eligibility for the program. Participants deemed ineligible after acceptance to the OCM will immediately be disenrolled.

• Maximum of 4 people per household may be on the OCM at any given time.

• Participants must have a phone number and email address as a form of contact to receive confirmation of program enrollment.

About OC Meals

OC Meals is a temporary food program serving the Second District of Orange County, offering dinner meals to eligible participants affected by COVID-19 crisis of 2020. This project is funded through a grant from the CARES Act (H.R. 748), as allocated by the Orange County Board of Supervisors and administered by the Office on Aging.
